Possessing "own-worldness" since 1983...

About Me

I am silly and random and an optimist. I'm not all here, but I'm not all there, either. I love stories. I love songs that wrap around your chest and lift you

Ron

where are you? :-(

Ron

Last time I logged in, I saw your mix under featured mix tape! Saw that you have "I Wanna Be Sedated" on it. This will make you super happy - I have a VERY rare 12" of that song that ROCKS! It's 5+ minutes long, has killer drums on it at the beginning and end. It's so rare, it's almost impossible to find even on limewire, etc. I'll send you a punk mix with it on (that is, if you ever send me your address) :-(

Ron

Going to send you a progressive hip-hop mix in addition to the other mix(es?) you're getting. Everyone on IMP seems to love it so far......but you've gotta return from exile and let me know where to send it. Ciao, bella Kat!

Ron

hi kat :-) you still around? need your addy so i can drop you another cd (or two)

Ron

merry christmas, kat ;-) may santa bring you all that you wish for, and more.....

Ron

Hi Kat - there's a CD I want to send you, but I keep misplacing your address also. Drop me a line or just include your info in the CD case (actually, just email me so you get your mix quicker). Have a PC now and can re- download the MixMeister program, but don't have all my music off the old hard drive yet. But I do have a mix in mind for you that doesn't require much production....PS - did a year end wrap-up for Ryan Mixtape, there's a shout- out to you at the end :-) Here's the info: Ron Carnes 1412 Mount Rose Avenue York, PA 17403

Kat Lady: Hey, hey!!! It arrived. Thank you so much. Getting that pretty package made my day. I love that you put some effort into the whole thing mailing thing. I'm was listening to the Liberi Fatali track while driving to work, which made the street-scene soundtrack a little weird. But in a good, "sturm und drang"-kind of way. So I got all worked up but then Lorena calmed be down. Oh, the dizzying highs and the bottomless lows and Blue Man Disco was cool too....thanks a lot.

Ron

hi kat - hope you haven't had much rain where you are, because you probably have pneumonia by now if you've been camping by your mailbox (lol)....sorry for the lack of tuneage - still no pc, but slowly making progress. new tower has been ordered, still need op system, etc. but there's a couple playlists/mixes taking shape in my mind that i want to get down on cd and get out to you....

David

It is on it's way.

Ron

hey kat - love the cd! in fact, the only track i couldn't get into was liberi fatali. love the new take on "don't let me be misunderstood" by santa esmeralda. "bang bang" rushes "kill bill" to the front of my mind, which is never a bad thing :-)....want to get another one to you, but my pc breathed it's last breath around three weeks ago. but another will come your way soon....thanks again! <3 ron

Ron

hmmmmm...."a cd of confusion"? "what's my mood"? i don't think so (lol)...kat, i do believe you're trying to seduce me :-0

David

I've re-appeared..... at david.haw@sympatico.ca Contact me at that email and we can exchange mailing addressses. Then it's go time.

David

Right this second I'd like a new job and a very stiff drink, but since neither is within reach, how about you just surprise me with your music mixing skills. I'm fairly easy to please. I've just moved, so give me a day or two to get my email set up and then we can share addresses.

David

Okay, Kat Lady...one of the side benefits of being an IMP'er is the chance of doin' a little side trading; I mean we have to wait a whole month for our regular mix.....,what's a ritalin junkie supposed to do)? So, I like songs that lift me up...up...up....too....too....too. Interested?

Ron

you've disappeared again :-( drop me a line @ hdtrip@comcast.net for my address to send the mix to...

Ron

I love that you've been dancing non-stop to the mix I sent you. That's what I was aiming for! It's weird, but for some reason I knew you would love 'Mad Dog God Dam'. Gotta love the sample of a toilet flushing (lol). Definitely send me a mix - I can't wait to hear it!

Emma

Cool! You can reach me at emmab4@shaw.ca

Emma

Forever the eternal optimist-a good thing to be-so I'll be optimistic in asking...Kat, do you feel like a side trade? Lemme know either way-

Ron

hey kat - still alive?....sorry if you hated the mix (people tend to go either way, strongly, on my mixes)...but let me know if you did/didn't receive it...rock on! ron :-)

Ron

hey kat :-) sent your CD around 6/20....did you get it yet?

Ron

Kept changing my mind on the mix I wanted to send. So finally I decided to create one for you from scratch. It's going in the mail tomorrow!

Ron

door #3 it is! just shoot me your address at hdtrip@comcast.net (or in the comment area). ron

Ron

Love the eclectic tastes and eccentricity! Wasn't assigned to send you a mix, but want to send you one out of appreciation to a fellow kindred spirit :-).....Can't decide what to send you - would you like 1) a chill CD, 2) a techno/dance CD, or 3) whatever is behind door number #3? Ron C.

Courtney

I never really got into those Electric Eels, though the cover art was spiffy. Send me a mix with celebratory overtones, but specifically used to clean the house to....
